A Nostalgic Horror Trip ver.2.0 BY -D-

This one takes place at the same home as in part 1. as wether it took place before or after part 1, i'm not quite sure (it has been SOOOO long ago...).

i remember it was during the more warmer seasons, where despite getting close to Maghrib, the sky was still bright and clear. around that time, as i was about to finish taking a shower, i heard a car coming in from below, followed with some unfamiliar voices. being the curious little boy that i was, i quickly dressed up and asked my maid who it was.

apparently, my brother had came home along with some friends, of which 2 of em' were girls. now, being the cute little busybody that i was (and i still am, aside from the "little" and "busybody" aspect), i decided to go down and be a show and try to blend in somehow. unfortunately, my maid wouldn't allow me till i dry my hair properly. once that task was over with, i head on to the back door where my slippers were. just as i was about to reach for the door knob, the door just quickly swung open and hit me in the head, followed with my brother and his friends rushing in, in a panic, where one of the girls fell to the floor, crying, and covering her place. it was a duet of cries, as i joined in on the action as well (lets see you try hitting a 6-7 year old on the head hard without making him cry).

as the story turns out, when my brother and his friends got home, one of them expressed a bit of interest on the forest "gate" that i mentioned in part 1. after a few words, they decided to venture into the forest a bit. a few hundred metres in, they were greeted with the sound of rustling in the trees, which wasn't at all that strange seeing as how monkeys occupied the place. one of the girls, the one who cried a duet with me, decided to just look up and have a quick look at these monkeys. while she did saw them, she also had a clear view of a very unfamiliar creature; it had the figure of an adult human, except it's body was completely covered in fur, and the smiling face of an old man (of which she described years later when i first heard the story, something like the Cheshire's Cat smile from Disney's Alice in Wonderland), with pointy ears, on one of the trees. and before you start, she knows what a chimp looks like, and this was definitely no chimp...

so, she screamed and ran off. my brother and the others looked at the direction she was looking at when she screamed and saw a huge black figure, too big to be any monkey, jumped out of their sight an into the thick bushes of leaves above. whatever it was, they had no intention of taking a good look of what it was, and rushed back to the house.

for a few nights since then, my brother slept over in the living room, whereas the girl didn't sleep for 2 days till she consulted an imam, while the bump on my head healed in less than a week.
