This story happened to my close friend, RT. We were still in MD back then. Like the sleep paralysis thing, this was way beyond that. It was freaky. And it's unreal too, like you might think its a dream but it's not. Remember sometimes old people use to say that when you're asleep your souls tend to move about here and there. I think this is what happened here.

When she told me this I remember how worried she was. And scared and it lead her to be an insomniac. Apart from school stress and life lah.

We usually all sleep together, but this time each and everyone of us decided to sleep in their respective rooms. We were in our senior year. So we get to have a room for ourselves. Not that it's very appealing to sleep alone in the hostel room, what with the stories you tend to hear here and there, but it was appealing in a sense that we get to have a little bit of privacy. I like to dress up in my room and decided what to wear for the next day so sharing with a roomie might not be a good idea as your roomate might find it annoying cause your clothes would be everywhere.

Anyways back to my story, she was asleep. And she thought she was having a dream. She dreamt that she was floating high and high and high... I think everyone expereinced that kind of feeling, when you're ready to sleep. you feel yourself drowsy and feel like you get pulled deeper and deeper into sleep mode. She said it's something like that but different in a way that you actually feel it as if you're still awake. It's like you're actually feeling yourself floating in mid air.

She didn't know why, but while floating she decided to look down below her. Bear in mind that all this happened when she was asleep. She looked down and she saw herself asleep. Eyes shut. Breathing normally. She was shocked and and in an instant she felt herself falling down faster like a whoosh, and instantly she was awake. Her chest hurt and her breathing was rough. She immediately looked herself in the mirror and her face pale.
