Slam to all readers. Lama sudah ku nda menulis k blog ani, last post was on the 12 may 2009..ani its may 2010. Between that time, i think bnyk yg ku alami. Esp yg ganjil n yg membagi kambang bulu..
Now i am the eldest of 3 siblings, the youngest being my sister. The thing is, kami dua ada 'hadiah'. My brother yg sorang ani, somehow immune. We can feel the presence of 'beings' n kami kdg2 dpt meliat jua.. Tapi di antara kami dua, my sister lagi 'sensitive' lah..Here's my story.....It happened between my previous post and this post..
Some of u might remember abt my granma's house, some of u might not. But utk siapa yg nda tau, pls refer to my previous post for a brief description of rumah nenek ku ah. Kami lama sudah nda melawat nini ku d lumut ani, masing2 sibuk dgn kraja n skulah, so masa cuti skulah last semster, aku membawa adiku yg bungsu kira roadtrip lah k blait.. Sambil2 atu singgah k tmpt2 yg jrg d aga mcm tasek merimbun apa. Ndakan ke mall saja memanjang, mau jua tukar selera..
So at some point of the roadtrip, kami pun sampai arh rumah nini. Kira berhat sehari dua dsana lah..plus, kalau stay dsana, grenti masakan nenek ku nyman2, msakan kampung lah. The first night d sana, nothing happened. FYI, kami tdo tmpt bilik tamu tu dluar, tmpt ku dulu tym knk2 tdo..(again,pls refer to my prvious post).. But the SECOND night we spent there, thats when the 'kambang bulu' part happend
After dinner, kami mendgni nenek nyuci2 pinggan n buang sampah apa..after that, me n my sister lepak2 bilik tamu sambil crita2 lah abt our plans for tomorrow. It was getting late, arnd 2 in the morning kali, time kami masih crita2 suddenly my sister ckp
"Bang, tdo th tani, dari tadi prasanku 'IA' mliat n mndgr crita tani ah", with this, aku pun tediam n tarus mliat2 bilik tamu, but nda jua ku nampak.
"Owh,bah tdo tah, abg k dapur skajap kn ambil smoke break" i said
i think dlm stangah jam x ku d dapur, facing d creepy WINDOW, smoking. But the scare does not happen during aku d dapur.. It started when aku keluar dari dapur. Now rumah niniku ani, wen buka saja pintu dapur, directly nampak tu bilik tamu tmpt kami tdo. This is wen i saw 'IA', staring at my sister. 'Ia' ani mcm makai jubah putih tapi mcm menguning wrnanya, rambut nya g kusut..For ur benefit, aku describe cana ia mliat adiku ani..
Kami tdo pakai tilam saja, so ampai2 ja lah arh lntai. Now 'benda' ani, directly bediri dkt kepala my sister, mcm rukuk ah, face to face lah.. Aku tahan2 saja, mcm nda dpt begarak, bckp pun nda.. Dlm 5 minit kah brapa ku catu, mliat benda atu until tiba2 ada bunyi urg mengatuk pintu blakang arh dpur. Aku otomatik lah menulih, tba2 ja dpt begarak.. Laju2 ku arh adiku..
Ku pikir, slama benda atu menyubuk adiku, adiku ani tdo.. Skali udah ku aga, rupanya slama ani ia bgn, kira menantang benda atu balik..
Then ia ckp arh ku "batah jua abg besigup, pyh jua ku kn tdo tu ada 'ia' menyubuk2 ah, mun abg ada,nda ia brani..ish! Bah tdo"
Aku no comment, sal nya aku tau adiku ani mcm mana mun ia tjumpa or tliat brg2 catu.. Mls ia kn brapa melayan.. Cerita pasal adiku ani bnyk plg lagi, but atu utk masa lain lah okie? Till next time readers..

She smiles BY Brunei Girl
Assalamualaikum everyone J
I would like to share dengan kamu, two of the many eerie experiences from my adik when she was a few years younger. But before I start, I would like to share with you something Cikgu-cikgu IRK shared with us dulu masa aku form 3 through 5. One of them said that you can only ‘see’ ghosts (or accurately dalam Islam; Djinns) if, 1. You are of the pious i.e. orang-orang alim yang diberi anugerah Tuhan the gift of sight, 2. If you have inherited the djinn i.e. Unbeknownst to you, rupanya nenek moyang kamu memelihara dahulu (jangan offended because it was practiced a lot dahulu because orang inda berapa arif pasal agama) and the other said that 3. The djinss berniat kan meliatkan diri dorang secara senghaja. Wallahualam, all in all, bear in mind, the one who is Most Knowing is Allah SWT.
In the case of my adik, she would fit in the number 3 category.
A few years ago, we lived in this housing di Lambak Kiri (wouldn’t disclose any further if you don’t mind). This place, is really old and small and rumah kami dahulu atu, very very near to a hutan and on top of that, only a stone throws away from a pantai. So dikirakan, it is more susceptible untuk djinss to go ‘out and play’ sebab durang lagi batah disana-I rationalize cemani pulang.
Suze, my adik (bukan nama banar) is one of those kids yang ‘sanang nampak’ I guess. Wallahualam, why these beings suka menjelmakan diri dapannya.
Well anyway, one night, we were sleeping in our mother’s room, masuk akal lah ah, rumah damit, more than one people sleep in a room. Suze anak bungsu so ia tidur tangah-tangah while my mum tidur on her left while I was on her right. For some reason, Suze tebangun tangah-tangah malam atu. And something in the corner of her eye, caught her attention.
Pintu bilik my mum, bebuka. Suze quietly looked at the door when ia sadar, yang membuka pintu ani bini-bini. Bini-bini ani, bukan our maid or our kaka yang tidur bilik sebalah… Suze was scared but could only keep still as this woman in white, with long, long black hair stood at the opened door. Bini-bini atu, senyummm arah adik ku. Ketungkalan, si Suze tapuk under the blanket, tunggu sampai bini-bini atu hilang. Maybe ia pikir it was just her imagination, jadi for a while, subuknya lagi. The woman was still smiling, her face was pale and her eyes, stuck on my adik’s face.
Helplessly, Suze pusing arah my mum. She shook my mum punya tangan but my mum inda tebangun. Cali, sebab my mum, sanang tebangun wah. Light sleeper nya orang putih. Tapi that particular night, my mum just wouldn’t bangun. So Suze turned to me.
Malu ku pulang kan membagitau ni. But when Suze turned to me, aku pakai mask masa atu (almaklum, teenager perasan) so despite this cali moment, she turned back to the door. Bini-bini atu masih jua berdiri, senyum-senyum arahnya. After what seemed forever, the girl, tutup pintu and left my adik alone…
On another occasion, it happened at our nini’s house. This was also Suze yang cerita arah ku, unlike her aku inda sanang nampak stuff (not that aku minta-minta, Nauzubillah…)
It was malam Jumaat so kami baru habis mengaji. The kids suka main-main di bilik tamu after that. Ada our cousin si Hami (bukan nama banar), ia ani gauklah when he was a younger boy. But he was older than the other kids yang belari-lari di dalam bilik tamu atu however masih pulang setaie sedikit hahaha! Why I thought he was setaie, was because unlike Suze, though Hami can ‘see’ things easily too, ia ani penagur.
So, ia panggil si Suze.
“Suze, Suze,” nya, while standing in front of the window (note, this is MALAM) I would imagine ia pingang tabir because usually they’re closed at night. Kali si Suze aga ia,
“Apa?”
Si Hami tunjuk, outside.
My nini tinggal di bukit, so ia buat retaining wall behind the house to prevent tanah runtuh. This retaining wall can be seen clearly from this part of the bilik tamu. I guess for recreational reasons, my nini made it look like a side of mountain rather than a bland wall.
“Apa tu?” nya si Hami.
On the ‘bukit’, Hami was pointing at something they could both see in the dark. That thing was sitting, almost in a squatting manner. It was a girl, with long hair and she was smiling. At their direction.
Si Suze, knowing exactly what it was, only kept quiet.
Kali kelurusan uncle kami datang, he called them to come out dari bilik tamu, takutnya bejurit kali. So our Usu got the kids out of the living room, not knowing what Hami and Suze were both talking about while they were both oddly standing near the window earlier…
Hehe. Okay sampai sini sahaja. I hope I didn’t bore anybody, and if I did, minta maaf ku banyak-banyak.

Lambak Staff House Incident Part 1 BY Aswana
Let's start off with the story about my clairvoyant friend, A. I've mentioned about her before from the story of the Serambangun incident. This is a tale before the Serambangun incident ever happened. This is the story where a mistake has been done. Partly on my part cause I was entrusted by her to and have been warned by her that no matter what 'she' says, I have to close it for her. And I have failed her…
It was few months before Serambangun thing, we were at her house in Lambak. Her two storey house located at Lambak area is a staff house. It was rented by her boss at that time which is also her close friend. It's big place tho, 4 people stayed there including herself. Anyways, the day before she told us a story. When she went home from work, the electricity at her house went black. At that time she was alone. The rest of the staff haven't returned yet from their outing. She thought that there was a trip or something. The circuit box was located just right under the staircase inside so she aimlessly went there backed by her mobile phone light and confidently searching for the circuit box. On her way to it she thought she so something while passing the staircase. She shone her mobile phone to the area where she thought she saw "something". And there stood where her mobile light shone a yellow thing, very tall, it's head facing up to the ceiling. She screamed and went out the door barefooted to her car frightened and locked herself up. She switched her radio channel to the quran station. A few minutes later the other staffs came and she was crying in the car. Everyone was surprised and she started telling them what happened. She told me and the others who weren't there at that time the next day.
Because of that incident, she can't stop thinking about it. If i'm not mistaken a few days later she started a ritual to call spirits, a thing she learned from her iban friend. Syirik plg tu… tp curious punya pasal la ni… coz she wanted to know who sent that yellow thing to her… There were three of us, four including her… Before she do the spirit calling thing, she gave me this minyak. It was sealed in a small bottle, for me to hold and told me after the ceremony is done or if something goes wrong like she was tired, I MUST spa the mink to her so the thing can leave her and go away.
The three of us, me, her cousin and her colleague was told to sit quietly on the other sofa in her room. She strictly told us NOT to say any Quranic Verses or it wont work. The ritual, she need to call any spirits and let them enter her body. And when that happen she can see clearly of any spiritual beings that is in the house. She started of by lighting a candle. All lights were off. Then she open her windows wide. The she sat next to us on the other sofa. Bersila la ia duduk. She closed her eyes and started chanting. Her voice gradually becomes deep as she chanted the mantra that she learned. The three of us sat still on the sofa, too frightened to even utter a word. Then her eyes open wide. She furiously shouted at her colleague M to shut up and stop muttering quranic verses. Which surprised her colleague as to how she knew.
"Maria (bukan nama sebenar tapi nama glamer)! Jgn sabut nama Allah!! Now I have to start over again!"
She started chanting again. Then not long after… her head bowed low. She went silent. Us three were curled up together on the sofa. I was the closest ones net to her. Her cousin Amy (bukan nama serener, nama glamer) was in the middle and next to him is Maria. I looked at Amy and wondered what happened. He just shrugged. Then A made a sound. The three of us jumped. She started laughing quietly and more like giggling and faced us. Then she turned away. Then she was silent again. Then she started saying " Buka tu ayat di dinding ah."
"Amy! Buka ayat id dinding ah ia nda data mask!" she said. So Amy did what he was told. He took down the ayat sejadah on the wall. Then she started the chanting and calling again. Not long after that, the giggling starts again. I was scared. Amy poked me and said to put the mink on her now. So with trembling hands I spa the minyak to her forhead when she shouted to me…
"Beh! Napa ko sapu dulu! Aku alum lagi." She was furious!! I said sorry. "Aku pikir ko gone dh… Manaku tau…"
She did it again. Then the thing get to enter her… She started walking around the house alone. Went down the stairs. A few minutes later, she went up back again to the room. She went to the corner then to the other corner… Nda plug ku takut mliat ulahnya atu. Then she came back to the sofa and strted chatting with us. She told us that the yellow thing is not here anymore. Yg ada are the previous house puny ghosts. The initial owner puny ghosts and something else punya spirit jua… Then she asked us, what we want to know… But before any of us say anything she started telling us things… about me, her cousin, her colleague… she was so chatty… then she suddenly said she was tired. And I took out the mink and want to sapu the minyak to her forehead and she said "Aku ok! Nda payah"
I was hesitant. I said "No. You precisely told me to sapu this. "Nda payah!" Then she giggles softly. "Are you sure?" I tried to spa to her head but she pushed away my hand. "Beh! Apa nyangku nda payah! Aku ok! Ia nada dh. Ngalih ku in kan tidur!" So i didn't. She took the minyak from me. And I left the place.

This story happened when I went to Singapore to visit friends, not long after spending several years living there. There was me, and my three friends, two Eurasians and a Caucasian, J,G and D. D got a crush on this one guy and she learned that this guy and a bunch of his friends were going camping at Bukit Timah Natural Reserve by the quarry (sort of like Bukit Shahbandar with a gigantic unused pool) and since we were all hanging out she managed to convince us to go and join them. The me, J and G figured ok, we'll go for the day and leave before evening. We packed some food and clothes and went.
I remembered we swam in the quarry, jumping off the cliff especially the boys who were showing off their daringness. The water in the quarry was murky and it was amazing that it never occurred to us that anything dangerous could have been in the waters, for all you know they could be spikes of wood or metal that could have impaled us as we jump in.
By evening we dried off and had a fire started and we did the old cooking by the camp fire thing, I remembered burnt marshmallows... and the guys were wrapped up in their own thing and ignored us girls and I wanted to head back to civilisation. Somewhere at that time, I had a fight with D, I can't remember what it was about anymore but I got fed up with her, stood up and started walking back into the forest to get out of the place. I remembered I just wanted to get far away from her. J and G came after me and I think J managed to get D to join us and just leave the place.
We didn't even have a torchlight to help out make our way out but somehow we did. It was a still night, nothing was moving, no wind, no crickets noise, it was quiet. All of the sudden I smelt something sweet and floral, like the smell came up from behind. We were walking in a single line and I was up front, J was behind me. "J, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" I asked her.
"Yes... G?" and G replied, "Yup."
D asked us, "What are you guys talking about?"
None of us answered and we sped up. We dare not run we just walked faster. D complained we were moving too fast, and we just told her to keep up. The smell got stronger. Dogs were barking in the distance and I was praying we get out of here safe and trying not to imagine anything. I warned the girls to keep looking ahead. D was still bitching when all of the sudden she stopped talking. Can she finally smell it? We didn't ask and just continued.
Finally we managed to get out of the forest and into a clearing, the barking got louder and the four of us walked side by side. We could see street lights in the distance and made me feel slightly better but it was still far from safety. Ahead of us we saw the dogs, probably about a dozen in numbers barking straight at us. Oh crap, and we need to get pass them to get out. I told the girls to just continue walking ahead, I figured we can always fight off the dogs if need be than trying to fight whatever was behind us that's giving off that smell that just seemed to threaten to engulf us.
As we got closer to the dogs, I wondered why they didn't lunge at us, they just stood there barking their heads off. The four of us walked right by them and I realised the dogs weren't interested in us, they were barking whatever was behind us! As soon as we passed the wall of dogs, the smell stopped. The dogs continued their barking and we got onto the main parking area as quickly as we could and onto the road and hailed a taxi and get out of there.
Since we were staying at J's place, we took the precaution of making sure we washed our feet and walked around the house three times before heading indoors. After we got ready for bed we started talking of what happened earlier. D said she at first had no idea what we were talking about when we were in the forest and she wondered why we were so quiet and was moving quite fast, when suddenly she smelt something sweet from behind her was when she finally understood what was happening. J, G and I were impressed, because we always wondered whether Caucasians get affected to, now we know, cos D is a blonde haired blue eyed orang puteh and the four of us almost had our first encounter with what I assume now was a pontianak.

When the Brunei Government acquired a piece of land from Singapore an embassy or referred as a high commission for Commonwealth countries was built along Tanglin Road just outside Orchard area. The first impression people got when they saw the embassy was that it looked like a fortress because of the way it was built and the gates around the compound...
The local Singaporeans, especially the taxi drivers in the old days never like that place, there were stories of them picking up a lonely female passenger or she's carrying a baby in the middle of the night only to find her disappear and leaving behind leaves and stones in the back seat when they reach their destination, usually near an old graveyard which had been relocated, and the passengers would always originate near the location of the current embassy now. I remembered that plot of land has always been empty because people were scared. In a way I think the Singapore government got a good deal as they managed to get rid of that particular plot, but that's my theory.
I remembered after we moved into the residence that was built in the compound next to the embassy building the house had three levels. The ground floor, first floor and the basement. The first floor was cosy as it had only three bedrooms and a small family room. The ground floor was mainly the large living space with two guest rooms on the left and the kitchen, dining rooms on the right of the space. And the stairs leading down to the basement on your way towards the guest rooms. The basement was basically a large open space, with the intention for the place to be used for entertaining as it also have a kitchenette which links up with the main kitchen via a dumb waiter, and the dumb waiter have an intercom. One of the stories was came from the maids, when they're in the main kitchen, they would hear noises coming from the intercom like people talking, and they very well knew there was nobody home at that time, let alone in the basement.
Another story was in the room I stayed in, it was late at night, I was up reading a book, all was quiet. I had large windows on two sides of the room and one side overlooked the embassy, and the other window lead onto the roof of the house, and the curtains were drawn. All of the sudden I heard three sharp knocks coming from the window that overlooked the embassy, I know very well it's impossible for anyone to knock on the window without having a ladder at least. I debated on whether to flip the curtain to look or pretend I didn't hear anything. Curiosity got the better of me and I took a look. All I saw was the pale yellow glow of the street lights outside casting shadows all around. I tried to see if there was a figure or anything to indicate a presence that might have lead to the knocking, a bird at least. Nothing. I went to bed with the lights on that night.
There was one time I had a friend who stayed over, she and I were were really into ghost stories and was really into that whole True Singapore Ghost Stories books that were really popular. At that time, I had positioned the bed between the door and window which faced each other, basically you open the door and you're looking straight out the window, so the bed is in between. It was a double bed so I was sleeping facing the door and my friend was facing the window. That night, half asleep, I remembered vaguely that the door was slightly ajar, and I remembered locking the door and thought oh she must have gone out to get a drink or something and went back to sleep. I woke up again when I felt like as if somebody was blowing across my ear, this cold wind, and I thought she was trying to freak me out, and I wasn't going to give her the satisfaction she woke me up and ignored it and fell back asleep. The next morning I asked her why on earth was she blowing across my ear for when I was sound asleep. She looked at me all quizzically like as if I've gone mad, because as far as she was concerned, she was asleep and didn't wake up at all until morning.
Remember the story of the dark figure that was sitting by the steps at the colonial house in the previous entry? Well, I guess it must have followed us when we moved. This time it was the steps that lead to the pool that was on the other side of the embassy. The security guard was doing his rounds and was just descending the steps that was leading towards the pool when he saw a dark figure sitting on the steps. He thought it was his buddy as there are now two guards on duty at any one time, and approached the figure. As soon as he was next to it, the figure rose, looked at him straight in the face and disappeared. The other security guard came around looking for his buddy when he didn't turn up after a while, only to find him passed out on the steps.
These happen to be the few incidents that was involved when I was staying there, wasn't there for long as my parents got sent of somewhere else and I went back to Brunei to continue my schooling, I don't know if there were anymore incidents regarding the embassy and surroundings, probably are, just haven't heard about it. Wouldn't it be great if we do...

That Old Colonial House BY Rozie
When I was a kid, my parents were diplomats for Brunei and got sent to
Singapore. The first house we stayed in was a colonial place behind
the botanical gardens, (the area doesn't exist anymore thanks to
Singapore ongoing development). It was an old place and big grounds,
pool and a tennis court which other people in the area would borrow to
use. The guest room was at the end of the house, next to the study
where on weekends we have an ustaz who would teach us kids mengaji and
ugama. That part of the house was creepy, it felt creepy. Guests who
have stayed in that room would tell us the next day that somewhere in
the night they felt this heavy weight lying on top of them. It doesn't
happen to everybody but to most people. I myself have taken naps in
that room (kirakan case memberanikan diri), and even though it was
still and quiet and at times I woke up around maghrib, I didn't
experience anything.
Also with this house, one incident was near the tennis court, since
the house was on a hill, you'd have to go down the stone steps behind
the house and pool to get there. One night the security guard was
doing his rounds and there were some lights leading down the steps,
enough to make your way but not enough to light up the place. He saw a
dark figure sitting on one of the steps, he thought maybe one of the
neighbours must've had a late tennis game and was the last one to go
and hadn't gone yet. He approached the figure and as soon as he was an
arms length away, the figure stood up and just flew off.
The house has a separate garage which included two rooms, which were
used as the drivers rest room and where they have their meals and
beds. (My mother only told us about this after we came back to Brunei
many years after), when we were in Singapore, my grandfather passed
away, and somewhere after that, my parents had bought marble batu
nisan to be brought back home to be placed on his grave, in the mean
time the nisan were placed in the garage until we went home for the
holidays and bringing them back with us. She said that when the
drivers had to work overtime at night, they would hear knocking sounds
coming from the garage, and this continued until the nisan were
brought back.
In front of the house was a large tree which seemed to grow
horizontally. Us being kids would use our imagination and I referred
to it as the tree ship and played around the tree in the afternoons a
lot. Little did we know there have been sightings of the white lady at
night playing in the same location, and our bedroom window overlook
that tree and I don't ever recall ever seeing it, but the security
guards does. I would have sleepovers with my friends and we would go
on a watch to see if we could catch a glimpse of the lady, never did.
I think the best story regarding that house has to be this one, the
security post is just outside the gates of the house, the road leading
towards the gate is hilly and curved in. We have about two or three
guards and they take turns each night so there is always one in the
compound. One night, he was at his post, a little guard house with
windows on all sides, enough for one person, when he noticed something
marching up the road. As the something got closer he saw a troop of
WWII soldiers, I can't remember if they were Japanese or not. For
those of you who don't know your history in World War II Singapore was
one of the places that were bloodied by the Japanese occupation and
many soldiers died. And since the area we were staying in was a
colonial era, I wasn't surprised when I heard this story. Anyway, the
guard saw a ghostly troop of soldiers marching up the road, what made
the whole thing freaky was the troops were marching up to the gates of
the house! And since the guard house was just outside of the gates,
the poor security guard had witnessed the whole thing. When the troops
reached the closed gates, they just stopped and stood still...
Waiting... That was that to the story because the security guard
fainted, and he was woken up by one of the drivers in the morning who
came to work and was told the whole story.

Part 2 The neighbour's House BY Aswana
The thing with bear hill, apart from bnyak babi hutan roaming the area... is that it's very quite. And in our area quite a few houses are still vacant. Especially the ones on the hill right above us. The place was always empty. Once a while the owners will drop by, but they never stayed over just clean up the place and trimming of their grasses.
The other neighbour once witnessed... This neighbour lived just across the empty house. These neighbours always sits outside at night and just chill at their balcony. Then one night they saw inside that house the lady in white roaming freely around the house. At that time they only saw long hair and white clothing. And it's not just once that they saw it. It looks like the place has been claimed by the thing as her place of stay.
Years ago before our house bertambah, my sister was outside downstairs when out of nowhere something white flew above her and went straight to the neighbour's house.
Right now, the house is still vacant. The owner now very very rarely came by their house. It's as if they don't want to visit the house anymore and live there... even during school holidays.

Random Weird Stories BY Aswana
As some of you might know, I stayed in Bear Hill. Perumahan Area. Before we moved in, my mulah nene tangah did some "meliat" on our house. I remember he told us that our house situated in a good position. If cina galar good feng shui lah. Ia ckp jua tempat rumah kmi ani is in between of two rivers... I'm not sure what this means maybe not between I think it's more like between crossings of 2 rivers? But in actuality there's no river plg sini ani... Just tanah biasa... To our naked eye lah. In a diferent world or alam lain (ghaib) it's a different kampung. Just like what my friend 'A' in my serambangun story mentioned. Wherever we go what we see is not what we 'see' at times. That's why we're forbidden to be cabul or sukahati buang barang or buang 'aing'. Sometimes we never know what we might hit or accidentally ter'kacau'.
Anyways enuf about that info. My story is about my house and few encounters by my dad, my tua labuan and sis. And after that a short story about our neighbour's house who rarely stays there at all. Even cuti skulah pun jarang2.
Part 1. Random weird Story
Rumah kami ani ampit sdh beguris. Beguris cara salah ampit jua sal ada org kawan my dad ani yg setau jadi bomoh. Adakah patut ceramin pacah di tanam ke empat penjuru. And ampit jua beguris secara islam (by mulah nene tangah which is the first before we moved in). Because of bnyk ilmu bercampur, jadinya nda berkat lah rumah. And before rumah bertambah, my parents decided to panggil org pandai (a young boy) to cleanse the house.
When he came over, what he did was to baca ayat quran first before doing the ceremony thing. I dont know what happen tho but all of us were not allowed to enter the living room. You see our place used to have a lot of bad beings dropping by to say hello. If any of you read my stories I was always not in bear hill. Mostly I stayed at my nene's place or my aunts, or hostel... It was only on special occassions like Hari raya or cuti skool panjang that I sleepover at bear hill. Now i remain permanently rooted here in Bear Hill. Well i think hopefully... This boy had to do a ceremonial in order to ward of evil from the house by mixing salt and black pepper together and scatter these on all four corners (4 penjuru rumah) at exactly 12 midnight. While scattering it the boy said we need to say a few surahs which he recited to my dad and my usu boy.
I dont want to tell you in detail of that night simply because tonight while writing this story I dont feel good mentioning it. All I can say is this, the boy said the thing was sent for my mom. Apparently someone wants my mom to suffer. And he said the thing got sharp horns on their heads. I think those things are still around lurking waiting for an opportunity to come back in the house area. I haven't been back to this house for quite a long time only recently late last year that I was back staying here. And I was kinda surprised caused everyday ayat quran was playing on the radio here by my mom. I think it's good that it was played.
Anyways, scrap that story. In actuality I wasn't gonna tell you about it, just happens to get slightly carried away. Ok back to the house story, this happens to my tua labuan. Back when the days where the house still looks "perumahan' like (meaning alum betambah), we used to get frequent visits from our Sabah and Labuan relatives. One of them was my Tua labuan.
Tua labuan sleeps in the living room area at that time. So the next day she told my mom a story. An encounter of spiritual being with big body she said. When they were sleeping they were visited by different beings. When she told this story she said they were more like encircled by them. Tua labuan said the people were largely build. They didn't disturb my Tua labuan and her husband sleeping. they just sits there and circling them as if watching them. I don't quite remember what really happened tho. All I remember was when she told my mom the story she was a lil bit freaked out.
Then there's this story about my dad. My dad always brings back home stuffs he found. There's tis one stuff he found while fishing with his friends. It was a stick. He found a stick stood by itself on the sea of waves. He thought the stick was long. Something made him to pick it up so he picked it up and to his surprised the stick was really short and it was actually standing on the surface of the sea. When my dad went to take the stick, the sea was almost on his waist line. My dad s 5'11. The stick is only 10cm long. He took it home. And ask my late nene tangah to look at it. And my late nene tangah said the stick actually have healing properties and it's a good one. It can help cure anything to do with black sickness. It belonged to a raja hitam or something the name. There's one time he found a lil bronze shoe the size of a baby's feet. He found it somewhere and apparently threw it away coz he thought it was nothing special. Then one day me and my lil bro was in the living room just goofing around when we both noticed the small child like shoe. We both touch it and found it cute. The shoe was nicely placed along with my mom's miniature collections of old iron, houses, telephones, etc. So we didn;t find it weird coz we thought that was part of the deco. When my dad saw the shoe, he was shocked and asked who put it there. We all said we don't know and the thing was already there when we saw it. Apparently it was gift for my dad by our invisible neighbour, a muslim jinn who happens to own his own mosque in our area. Late nene tangah told us that he dislike us burning near his area as it affects his mosque. And he doesn't like loud noises and ask us the family to comply with the rules. Once a while was okay but not all the time. See my mom likes to karaoke in the afternoon. So the 'imam' dislike it coz it was too noisy.

The Office BY Aswana
Actually I have a lot of stories to tell.. But due to limited time {Busy saja jua eh…} But I have to disappoint goosebump yet again this time as it's not the story of dragon. I'll tell it next week insya allah jua tu kalau ku ingat... Need to clarify something with an old friend first about it since she knew more in depth of the story - asal usulnya lah… hehehe Today I'll tell u a story of last year punya incident… I call this "The Office" =p
Lets name the place where I work as 'The Office'. A three storey building located at a used-to-be-government residential area. The building kira berumur la ah sudah… selalu saja tutup karan… Anyways, the office ani macam-macam la sudah ceritanya. One of the guys, our office neighbour had frequent encounters with the lady in white, of which he jokingly called as Celine Dion (lawa kali hantunya mun begalar CD). Al-maklumlah selalu saja ia balik menyubuh siapkan krajanya. I'm not gonna tell the story of him with his encounters as I have little knowledge of it. All I know is he frequently saw CD back in his early days in that office. However I will tell you the story of my first encounter of it since my almost 2 years working at The Office.
Usually I stayed pretty late at work, trying to finish up pending lah. Selalunya I was always alone. But that night I decided to went home a bit early around 7-ish… [Dont ask me what time I went home from office on normal days. Yg penting akhir la…] The reason - I'm carpooling with my friend who's also working next door. So ada dangan this time. Slalu sorang2…
Anyways, she peeked in the office and said "I'm heading to the toilet after that we go home la". I said, "Ok. Give me few minutes to save my work and packing up" and hurriedly making last minute editing and saving my work. After I've done my last minute "work", I packed up, switched off all that needed switching off and locked the office door. While locking the door, at the corner of my eye, I thought I saw my friend went in through an empty office room. It strikes me odd pulang cause behapa tah jua lagi ia kan masuk lam office kosong atu. Gelap lagi nda belampung. I didn't really see her, just part of her hair.
The empty office room was only one room away from my office. And at that time, not sure why the empty office door berbuka. Always it was locked. So I waited for her to come out of the room, I stood infront of my office door for her while eating my cookies coz I was hungry. I grew impatient and curious cause batah bah ia didalam. Nya lapas ke jamban tarus balik nya, ani behapa tah ia kn masuk lam office kosong atu lagi. I thought to myself since she just started working here in this building, maybe she wanted to explore. Tapi nda kn explore gelap2. Then it strike me maybe she didn't know where to switch on the lights? So I decided to aga her and help. Just as I was about to go to the empty room, suddenly I hear my friend's voice calling out to me asking where I am. And her voice didn't come from the dark empty room but somewhere else. So I answered back by asking "Erm… Where are you?" She replied "I'm waiting for you here outside at the stairs…" And she was right. There she is outside at the stairs with her phone on her ear maybe was trying to dial my number.
Quick Info:
1. My friend has long hair and she always let it loose.
2. On our floor there's only 3 active companies renting the offices, the rest are empty/rarely used.
3. To go to the toilet you need to go all the way to the end of the hall of that floor.
4. To leave our level you need to go out through a glass security door and by stairs (saja masukkan detail ani untuk memanjangkan info...)
So i quickly joined her outside on the stairs and asked her this " Are we the only ones on this floor masa ni?"
"Yes" She said, "Why?"
So I told her what I just saw. And she told me that she had the instinct of calling out to me coz she doesn't feel right. And she also told me that while passing the hallway on her way out from the toilet she passed the empty room and the aura doesn't seems right. So she quickly go out to the stairs and waited for me saja.
Imagine what would happen to me if I did enter the empty room. What would I see? Or worse what could've happen to me? [Jauh palis…..]
After that incident, I still went back home pretty late though. I didn't encounter any weird happenings after that. Or maybe ada kali just that I chose to ignore or is too engrossed with work.
