3) scary place no.2 ; ITB's electrical engineering department lab building.
when you stroll along the hallways of the building, you will notice some paper being put up on some of the doors with verses from the al-Quran on them.
one story from a lab technician goes like this; it was past 7 pm, and she had just finished preparing stuffs for tomorrow mornings' lab. as she packed her stuffs in her office, she heard the echoes of footsteps in the hallway. she was the only one left in the building, and all the doors gexcept for the main entrance and her office were already locked. thinking it was either one of her colleagues who forgot to pick their stuffs, she went out to greet him/her. the footsteps stopped.
now, whenever someone unlocks a door in the building, you can hear the sound of the lock. also the main entrance tends to make a sound when it opens and closes. she heard neither of these sounds, before the footsteps started, or after it ends. doing her job, she went to check all the labs and doors making sure it's properly locked.there was no sign of any of the lab or offices being occupied.
freaked out, she went to grab her stuffs and locked the door to her office. as soon as she did, the footsteps started again. she asked who was there. no reply. this time she was pretty sure no one was in the building except herself. the footsteps kept on going even as she went out the building and locked the entrance. she could stiil hear the faint sound of the footsteps in the building as she head to her car.
