2) i understand there was a scary bruneian place week (or something) awhile back. here's one: DST headquarters

let's start with an urban legend; this took place years ago when the building was nearly 100% finished. it only needed a few touch ups here and there and a couple of floors needed some more work done. nevertheless, they decided to put it to work in the floors that were usable.

one day, a woman, pregnant and expecting the baby in a few more months, was about to go home. she was the only one left in the building at the time while the rest of her colleagues had already gone home. working at the 5th floor, it'd be too much to ask for her to use the stairs. not long after the lift started to move, it started to shake a bit.

outside the lobby, the guards heard a huge crashing sound. when they went to check, one of the lifts had crashed down, the cable having snapped off. inside, was the remains of a women and a stillborn under her skirt.

the reason i call this an urban legend was that only a few of my classmates knew the story, which they heard from a friend of theirs. an incident like this should have been big news, yet it isn't well known. so, is it true? or is it a myth? there is one thing many who have worked or are working for dst have admit: they don't ever wanna stay there till way past 6 pm. one security guard claimed he had heard the sound of crying many times at night, when no one else were around.

  1. i can tell you that is 100% an urban legend about the "remains of a women and a stillborn under her skirt." the lift did crash but it isnt as tragic as the story told.
